The Beach Bunk Story
Beach Bunk started in 2025 with a simple idea: to make travel a little more comfortable for people who love exploring the world but still appreciate their own space.
I’ve always loved to travel, especially backpacking and staying in hostels. But after many nights in shared dorms, I realised how nice it would be to have just a bit more personal space to sleep, change, or recharge my social battery after one too many 'where are you from' and 'how long are you staying for' conversations. When I was planning a trip to Australia, I went looking for a portable privacy curtain I could take with me - something lightweight, easy to pack, and designed for hostel life.
There wasn’t one. So why not make my own?
That first prototype became the start of Beach Bunk - a small brand focused on practical, sustainable travel gear made for people who love exploring the world.
